Zofia Sowers has 16 plus years experience as one of the top attorneys in the field of family law and during that time she has become one of the region’s foremost experts in divorce, prenuptual agreements, modifications and specialized situations. Zofia has focused on the practice of divorce and family law exclusively in St. Louis for more than a decade and a half, and has represented clients in hundreds of divorce cases, including complex disputes involving the division of high-value assets, valuations of business interests, tracing of assets and income, as well as challenging custody issues. Zofia’s clients have included business owners, executives, lawyers, doctors, accountants, pro athletes, and stay at home parents, all of which she has helped attain a successful outcome, through what can be a stressful and difficult process.

Zofia was selected by Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers as a Super Lawyer in 2018 as well as the Rising Star in Family Law in 2009, 2010, and 2011. In 2019, Zofia was recognized by Best Lawyers.  She is well-respected by her peers in the St. Louis legal community.  She has authored and co-authored articles on family law and international law topics.

Born in Warsaw, Poland, Zofia earned her law degree from the University of Warsaw.  After moving to the United States, she earned a postgraduate law degree from Saint Louis University.  Zofia resides in Ladue with her husband and two young daughters.

Zofia is a member of the Missouri and New York Bar Associations and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
